Penetrating Concrete Sealers
Foundation Armor water repellent sealers are designed to protect concrete from below the surface. They reduce water absorption by up to 95%, protecting the concrete against premature surface deterioration caused by that. Surfaces sealed with a water repellent sealer are more resistant to cracking, spalling, pitting, mold and mildew, and efflorescence.
Foundation Armor water repellent sealers chemically react below the surface to form a hydrophobic barrier within the pores. They do not change the look or color of the concrete surface, and they won’t leave behind a visible surface film. Surfaces sealed with a water repellent sealer will look exactly as they do prior to being sealed. Foundation Armor water repellent sealers can last for up to 10 years before the need for a reseal.
Armor SX5000 - Solvent based, brown-tinted high gloss aggregate sealer.
Armor SX5000 WB - Solvent based, low gloss, wet-look sealer.
Armor SC25 - Solvent based high gloss sealer.
For concrete surfaces that are experiencing cracking, spalling, pitting, dusting, or deterioration, a concrete densifier and surface hardener can be used prior to applying a water repellent sealer. Foundation Armor densifiers and surface hardeners will chemically react to form a permanent Calcium Silicate Hydrate (CSH) structure within the pores. The CSH structure, once fully cured, can help to increase the surface strength buy up to 45%. Concrete densifiers and surface hardeners should only be used to increase the strength and density of the concrete. They do not offer water repellent characteristics and can’t stop against further deterioration caused by water absorption, snow and ice, or salt damage.
Armor S2000 - Concentrated sodium silicate concrete densifier and surface hardener for porous concrete.
Armor L3000 - Concentrated lithium silicate concrete densifier and surface hardener for dense concrete.
