Concrete Densifiers & Surface Hardeners

Foundation Armor concrete densifiers and surface hardeners should only be used on poured concrete driveways. They chemically react within the pores to form a hardened Calcium Silicate Hydrate (CSH) structure within the pores. Densifiers are used to provide concrete surfaces with an increase in strength and density. Densifiers should only be applied to unsealed concrete surfaces, and if applied, should be applied prior to applying another type of sealer or coating. Not all concrete requires the use of a densifier. If you are unsure which type of sealer is right for you, please contact a Foundation Armor Technician.

Penetrating Water Repellent Concrete Driveway Sealers

Foundation Armor water repellent sealers are DOT-approved, high solids sealers chemically react below the surface to form invisible, protective barrier within the pores that causes water and other liquids to bead off the surface. Penetrating water repellent concrete driveway sealers do not change the look or color of the driveway, and they do not leave behind a visible surface film. They are naturally non-slip and can provide up to 10 years of life before the need for a reseal.

Concrete Driveways sealed with a water repellent sealer are more resistant to the damaging effects of water absorption such as cracking, spalling, pitting, freeze-thaw damage, and salt damage. Driveways sealed with a water repellent sealer are also more resistant to the growth of mold and mildew, and the formation of efflorescence. When properly applied, Foundation Armor penetrating sealers can last up to 10 years before the need for reapplication.

Wet Look & High Gloss Concrete Driveway Sealers

Foundation Armor’s professional grade line of high gloss concrete driveway sealers can be used to seal concrete driveways, paver driveways, and aggregate driveways. High gloss concrete sealers are designed to enhance dull or faded surfaces with a clear high gloss finish. High gloss concrete sealers will never yellow, peel, or flake and they can withstand extreme variations in weather and temperature. When properly applied, high gloss concrete driveway sealers can last up to 3-5 years before the need for a recoat. The protective surface film left behind by the high gloss concrete sealer will reduce deterioration caused by water absorption and surface abrasion such as cracking, spalling, pitting, and staining. When applied to aggregate or paver driveways, high gloss concrete driveway sealers will help to secure loose pebbles or sand.

Armor AX25 - Professional grade solvent based Siloxane infused HIGH GLOSS acrylic sealer. Great for use around areas constantly exposed to fresh, salt, or rain water. Color packs and non slip additives available.

Concrete Cure and Seals for Driveways Less Than 30 Days Old

Concrete cure and seals are concrete sealers that can be applied to concrete less than 28 days old. When applied to concrete driveways less than 28 days old they will aid in water retention and proper curing. The protective layer left behind by cure and seals will protect the concrete from deterioration and staining due to water absorption and surface abrasion.

Armor AX25 - Solvent based siloxane infused high gloss acrylic co-polymer offering superior water repellency for areas constantly exposed to water.

Armor SC25 - The Armor SC25 is not a cure and seal, but it can be applied to newly poured concrete surfaces. As a water repellent sealer, it will help to protect the surface of the concrete from premature deterioration caused by water absorption, mold and mildew, and efflorescence.

Concrete Driveway Cleaners

Looking to clean your concrete before sealing it? Consider using a heated pressure washer and mild cleaner to remove everyday stains, dirt, and debris. In many cases, the use of a heated pressure washer alone will do the trick! For other concrete problems, such as efflorescence, or worst stains, such as rust stains, consider the following cleaners:
