With the Foundation Armor Concrete Sealer, you can waterproof interior or exterior conrete – above or below grade.

The Foundation Armor (TM) Concrete Sealer is a penetrating concrete sealer. Once in the concrete, the sealer reacts with the free calcium and lime to form a crystalline structure within the pores of the concrete – featured in the image below.

Concrete Sealer Crystallization Process

Water penetrates concrete through 1) cracks in your basement walls or floor, or 2) the pores of the concrete. First step to concrete waterproofing is to repair cracks using a crack repair kit. The second step is to seal the pores using a crystallization sealer. Once dry, water, vapors, moisture, and radon can’t pass through the concrete.

The Founation Armor (TM) Concrete Sealer needs to be applied once in a lifetime. After the first application, it never has to be applied again. The crystallization process is permanent. Once dried, the surface remains suitable for paints or adhesives, epoxies, thinset, patching, resurfacing, levelers, and more.
