Concrete crack repair epoxy. Epoxy crack repair solutions should only be used on concrete cracks that are in need of structural repair. If you use epoxy to repair a crack on a wall that was caused by settling, shrinkage, or movement – the next time settling, shrinkage, or movement occurs, the crack will reform because epoxy is not flexible. If your crack was caused by settline, shrinkage, or movement, you want to repair the crack with a polyurethane resin that is able to expand – therefore maintaining the bond it has to the concrete.
Epoxy solutions also can’t be used if the concrete crack is leaking. Again, if the crack is leaking you don’t want epoxy, you want a water-reactive polyurethane resin.
